IT Support Specialist

Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will have 2-5 years of experience supporting business-level IT Services. They must excel at solving difficult IT-related problems. They must be passionate about providing excellent customer service and be able to translate complicated technical discussions into lay terms. They must enjoy working in multiple environments with multiple technologies.

Required Technical Skills/Experience:

  • Configuring and administering Windows 10, Microsoft Server 2019/2016, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange 2016, Microsoft Office suite
  • Basic knowledge of networking/firewalls
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies
  • Experience with backup technology for both on-prem and cloud backups
  • Setup and deployment of desktops
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote management tools a plus
  • Experience with ring-fencing, white-listing, and dark-web monitoring software a plus

Daily Duties

  • Triage and respond to customer requests.
  • Determine root cause of complicated IT problems.
  • Implement new technology for customers.
  • Respond to security requests.
  • Work to solve hard problems and understand when to escalate.
  • Following the process, documentation, and time tracking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $35.00 per hour
